2. WORK AND STUDY GRADUATE PROGRAMME IN THE UK
WORK AND STUDY GRADUATE PROGRAMME is for those individuals who are interested in
gaining internationally recognised high-level qualifications and completing a period of work experience in the UK while improving their English language skills; for those who wish to have their English Language/Cultural Training and Paid Hospitality Internship with English companies.
TUITION
On the WORK AND STUDY GRADUATE PROGRAMME you will gain a Level 6 Graduate Diploma awarded by the London Centre of Marketing.
Academic & Business English are significant components of this course and IELTS training and testing is also given if you need to enhance your General English language level.
INTERNSHIP
Your placement will be for 24 weeks and there are two options for you:
Paid Work Experience This is usually in the Hotel and Hospitality sector and you must understand that this is mainly a cross section of manually related tasks associated with this service industry and that you will have to work at this level. These placements are across the whole of the UK so you must be prepared to live-in on the job in a different part of the country.
Unpaid Work Experience This is a range of training placements in London companies, which will provide the trainee with a clear job description and projects focused on their fields of study. Some of these placements may be eligible for a basic allowance of ÂŁ250 per month towards travel and lunch.
You will be awarded a Placement Certificate and a UK employers’ reference upon successful completion of your Internship period.
